Daylilies …

… just up the street from our house.

Daylilies are beginning to burst into flower all along our street. They are the original orange ones which, once started, spread
naturally. As s result, our street is lined with them every year mid to late June. As their name implies, one bud at a time opens and remains in flower for just a day. Fortunately each flower stock has many bulbs and we will enjoy flowers for several weeks.
