Gone Potty!

in the heat!

Another stunning summers day..and yet I seem to have spent a lot of time out in the car or getting cool in Sainsburys!!

I went this morning to see an exhibition of Master Drawings The drawings on view were done from the mid 15th century up until current day.. WOW.. it was wonderful, they really knew how to draw. I am hoping to do a portrait drawing class in the autumn and think I might have to get some red chalks .. the drawings were so beautiful. Whilst I can't hope to produce anything as special as Rembrandt's Head Study of an Old Man it was incredible to see something so sensitively drawn from around 400 years ago..

Looking forward to the temperature dropping a bit this evening and supper outside once more with the hum from the bees nest in the bird box..

Oh.. the pots.. they are in the Ingram Collection at the Ashmolean.. must take more time to look at them next time
