The Triangle

The Triangle, in the space at the fork of the two roads through the village, Canterbury Road and the Old Road, is our community green space, used for a variety of individual and communal activities. Last year, a small community orchard was planted with apple, pear and cherry trees, and most of them seem to be thriving. It's opposite the village school, which is involved in the project, and the trees were funded through a national tree planting schemes to which community groups could apply. I walked through it while returning from the surgery, a short stroll from home but further than I've managed for a couple of weeks. My leg objected, but it is improving; I so want to get back to proper walks and serious gardening.
