Slow & Steady

The methodical approach today and the rest of the week, I selected the first thing on the list and worked until it was completed. The Refs Room now boasts an extra shower, new shower curtains, mirrors, hooks, towel rail and mats. It can now be bolted from the inside and although primarily for family use during the Sea Shanty Camping it should prove popular with the referees in the coming season.
Once that was out of the way it was onto the pitchside water taps. I hadn’t ordered enough blue food grade hose so although the taps on posts were installed the hose will have to wait until after it’s delivered.
Next up the catering unit, power on & tested, additional power supplied for the jacket potato machine and the water system cleaned, flushed and proved.
I worked up until the club committee meeting which started at 6 and continued past 8.
I’m glad I took Paddy out before I started work and it got hot, a view I never tire of and I get to enjoy whilst Paddy hurtles around the field.
