Woods

Took a wonderfully quiet, rain soaked meander through the woods today.

I'm reading Underland by Robert Macfarlane at the moment and it's absolutely fascinating. So many moments where I just have to stop and absorb what's he's said. The feeling I'm left with every time I pick it up is how much there is to learn about how the universe and everything in it is just one and how blind we are to that. How we lay our own language and political systems onto nature and do it a massive disservice in the process. Read it!
