The Big Band Bash

Linton Jazz played a concert at The Maltings, Ely this afternoon, one of 6 big bands playing over the weekend.

The venue was amazing, great acoustic and what a wonderful surprise to see the sunshine.  Seems there is much more to Ely than just the cathedral.   I must come again.... The band sounded fabulous from where I was sitting - and such wonderful soloists, which included two young men from the trombone section.
