walking the plank

this is the highly precarious looking rig up that Pete put together for painting the ceiling and coving of the stairwell.

I've not been at all happy about it, to say the least.  I have been on high alert. 
However, the trickiest bit is done for the time being and I am hopeful of procuring a wider plank tomorrow...
