Against the odds...

...a sunny morning for petanque...

The rain came during the last of three "ends", but we managed not to get too wet! 

The work on the path on the left resulted in yesterday's muddy boots! The path had been dug out the previous week. Now the wooden retaining boards are all pegged in, and next week's job is the spreading of the stones ;)

The strange construction between the two terrains will magically be converted into a shelter at some point after that.
