What a difference a day makes …

This was the skyscape when I walked home from church, I love the cloudage. Such a different day to yesterday though to be fair there was eventually a fine evening after the washed out Gala. I popped upstairs to take this shot from the bedroom window.

It has been quite summery today and even warm in the sun. A special event after church, one of our parishioners was 90 on Friday so we had fizz, sandwiches and cake after the service.

The church had some beautiful flower arrangements for us to enjoy but they are for another of our church family whose funeral is on Tuesday.
She was 99 and sadly we hadn’t seen her in church since Covid. Her family provided new interior doors for our church in memory of her husband - blip in 2016 here. 
Her sister also used to come to church and is now 102.
