Father's Day

It's a lovely Sunday morning, and it's Father's Day. I'm up and about early, as usual, before the horde awakens, time to enjoy a coffee and potter about with stuff. V popped out for an early morning walk along the lane, but half an hour into the route the clouds drew in and the rain returned. I jumped in the car and headed off to the rescue with a waterproof jacket – nice to get my good deed for the day in early. On the way back I saw the rising sun streaming through the foliage in this small patch of woodland, definitely worth stopping to take a few pictures. I suspect there may be a nice cooked breakfast in the near future... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
