To a Queen

The stand-in choir leader is a specialist in Georgian 3-part singing. We hummed and vibrated, and then we learned this song in praise of Queen-regnant Tamar, of whom I knew nothing. 

A very different kind of lyric from what we typically sing, but a vocal tradition that we found resonated (quite literally) well with our usual harmonising.
