The Heron

This heron was posing on a log in the pond at Bryngarw Park today. We haven't been to the country park for a long time. It's only about 5 miles away from where we live. It's a beautiful place and you could spend the day there. There are so many blip opportunities you would be spoilt for choice. We will be going there again very soon, as i would love you all to see more of the grounds and Bryngarw House itself. We had our usual picnic on a seat under the trees and it was magic. There is a coffee shop in the grounds and in the house itself a really nice restaurant. They also cater for weddings.
On the way back to the car we went through the coffee shop and they had an assortment of delicious looking ice-creams. J had cappucino coffee swirl and I had banoffi. It was the best ice-cream I have ever tasted. It was naughty but oh, so nice.
