RIP

Charlie has been unwell for awhile and of late experienced the end of life symptoms. We went to the Vet this morning and he has now gone to Dog Heaven to join his twin sister Molly. It was so sad but necessary.

Charlie was a rescue dog and came to me with his twin sister Molly when they had just turned seven. He was untamed and initially resisted being house trained. Finally, we understood each other and we have had almost seven years of a happy life together. As long as no strange dog was near he was a gentle soul. It is going to be strange to sit on the lounge and not have him leaning up against me. I am very grateful to have had Charlie in my life.
