40 Wonderful Quilts

Cold and a few rain showers today …we even had to make a fire in the tulakivi.   NOT like summer!    Worked on this puzzle I saw in Paula J’s blip (after she had seen a different quilt one in my blip)  The women of Gee’s Bend, Alabama have been quilting since they were slaves in the  early 19th C. …have seen them in a show.  It’s so much fun to do 40 little puzzles…lots of stripes.  Photo taken from balcony down to painted table, chairs and floor.
