FRIENDS

Once upon a time there was a little lady duck who was friendly with some canal boats. They were called Jack and Jill, and Bill and Ben. One morning the little duck woke up and Jack was nowhere to be seen. Jill said he had gone to fetch a pail of water which made Bill and Ben snigger into their flowerpots. Jill was upset that they were laughing at her friend Jack, even though secretly she thought he was a bit of a plonker when they were floating in all this water.

But when Jack came back he did indeed have a pail of lovely, sparkling, fresh water, and Jill used it to make lemonade, and there were no squits of duck poo, dead fish or weeds in it. It was lovely lemonade.

Bill and Ben were not sniggering now.

Right, that's a bit of my lunch hour wasted, back to work.
