Engineering lab

I have learnt rather more than I think I needed to today about engineering. I say learnt, perhaps listened to is a more accurate description. Will and I went in the wind and rain to Brighton uni, predominantly for the local convenience of finding more out about a potential course for him. The course stuff was “fine”, he was happy to find out that none of the engineering bits he doesn’t like are part of civil engineering so it’s staying on the list and we will go and look at some unis he is more keen on going to. I had no idea there was so much practical work involved, lots of cement, soil and water labs!

Then we came home, I went for another pool swim, had a bath and then lounged on the sofa for the rest of the day, all energied out.
