Walking over the Braden River Bridge

In May of 2020, Manatee County started building a bridge across the river, just a couple of blocks from where we live on a canal. Watching the bridge being built via our small boat Chelsea, was one of our daily highlights during the pandemic! That's Steve walking towards it... the bridge was completed in August of 2023.

The work by the County also included road improvements like this wide, multi-use sidewalk. I love the lines of the sidewalk stretching out towards those amazing clouds -we've had some stormy weather.
