Carding fleece

An hour with drum carder this morning in the sunshine, what a perfect pastime.
The fleece is Oxford, not one I have any experience of. However it is off a gimmer, thats a yearling, and it feels soft, looks promising.
I plan to spin it and also to dye some, both carded and uncarde as well as spun. Should be an interesting experiment.
