Sheltering...

After a very wet night, and a very wet start to the day, the sun came out, but boy was it windy! Three loads of washing dried very quickly on the line, at one point it nearly took off! This little rose grows at the back of the flower bed so was sheltered from the worst of the wind. This evening the rain has returned.

Apart from laundry, did some tidying up in the garden, watched Trooping the Colour (collage of screenshots in extras), and was subjected to two football matches, a third yet to come. Must admit I don’t mind Euro 2024 matches too much, am not particularly interested in the football, but enjoy the international aspect, if you know what I mean.
