Martin and I had a nice trip down the road to the county town, Haddington, to get a walk in and also to pick up some cheese from the Cheese Lady. 

We also managed to have a drink at the Waterside pub by the river (see extra), which was lovely in the sunshine.

Blipped the John Gray Centre on the way back to the car, which is a juxtaposition of old and new, made even more unusual as most of the buildings in the town centre are historic.

Once back home we sat in the garden, reading our books and sipping our strawberry seltzer.

A lovely relaxed day.
