What Chance Now For The New Forest?
I walked with Hollie out along the lower slopes of Corvedale this evening. It was a pleasant evening walking and enjoying the last of the sunlight. Soon after we returned home the sky darkened with foreboding and we watched a tremendous thunder (and lightning) storm roll.down the valley.
The blip is a shot of the valley looking towards Munslow and Millichope Estate. This field was given over to a curious and extensive tree planting project which I blipped before. But the trees are slowly but surely being consumed by vigorous invasion of thistle, wild flower, grasses and Hogweed. Why is it not being managed?
I do not understand it, very odd.
