Juvenile Nuthatch

Another long day in the garden interrupted by showers and bird photography. This young nuthatch seemed confused and unsure, often sitting on the ground and occasionally picking at scraps. I have seen the adult taking food for the yougster but not today. I suspect it is kicking out time. You are on your own now young man, get used to it!
