Wait for me!

I am very aware that I was a bit naughty last night.

Over the last few days I have been hearing an unwanted visitor to our garden in the early hours. Of course I need to alert my humans to the danger and so I start to bark and run between the kitchen stable door
(where I can see a little in the dark) and the patio doors in the lounge. The visitor doesn't seem to want to go away so this morning I was doing my guarding bit from 12.30 until 2.00 am when Mum finally got cross and brought me into the bedroom shutting all access to the kitchen and lounge. Pretty unreasonable I thought however I could sense there was no room for negotiation on this!

To make matters worse Dad is away enjoying himself walking in the Lakes after taking part in the Saunders Mountain Marathon at the weekend (he usually sorts me out) and now Joe is unwell with a cold so Mum can't go to work today.

Am on my best behaviour this morning 'cos I think I need to get back in her good books.

P.S. Noticed she is still giving me treats on the walk - I think I may be forgiven.
