Trail Running Sara in the rain

44 years old with three sons, Sara is now the top woman trail runner in Switzerland at long distances. She returned to serious running only 4 years ago and wanted some photos for her sponsors in her local forest where she does a lot of her training. Trail running doesn’t having any money prizes and yet the training is as arduous as the races which are often up to 100km long. This summer she hopes to be selected for the Chamonix TMB, the Tour of Mont Blanc, all 170km of high altitude running. She is so modest and quietly spoken, a loving mother to her boys, 2 are already racing too at the ages of 10 and 14. The 12 year old goes fishing but his achievements are equally rated in their household.
