I was! Taken on my evening stroll in the sunshine.

A letter arrived from the Halifax saying that my aunt's money had been transferred and the accounts finally closed. It was dated 7th June and no sign of it yet... *sigh* and so it drags on into yet another week.

I've been learning a new crochet stitch today - double crochet (UK term) but yarn under, rather than over... I'd been wondering why other people's amigurumi sometimes looked a bit different to mine, and now I know why! Took me a while to get my head round but I love how it looks.

Was hoping to watch tennis this evening but rain has stopped play again. The tennis gods don't seem to want Jabeur to make an appearance in Nottingham. Harumph!

Best of luck to Scotland tonight - could they have had a tougher opening match?! Hope they do well. I'm looking forward to it :-)
