Ox-Eye Daisy with a fly (WFW24_11 & FF14_2024)

A few errands and minor jobs to do today so my Wild Flower Week and Flower Friday effort is an Ox-Eye Daisy in the churchyard, shot after I had finished off some strimmer time and before the forecast rain.   The rain didn't appear but the breeze picked up which made getting a clear image interesting.

I hope this fly is spreading the pollen about as we are leaving as many wildflowers as we can in an effort to re-wild some of the more open areas in the church yard.

Edited on my updated laptop (the extra RAM in yesterdays blip) it is quicker editing in Lightroom so a success :-) 

Today's most techie task was fitting a new rear light to Gill's eBike - feeding the wire through the channel on the inside of the mudguard (fender) was a bit tedious, and then I had to solder the wires onto the ones within the frame ... can't remember the last time I did any serious soldering!
