Hawkweed and a little fly

A man's been here all day adding storage batteries to our solar array so we can use free electricity at night in the winter. It's all installed but sadly it's not working because the new inverter doesn't work. He'll be back on Monday to fit another one.

Because we went away on the first of June, 'No Mow May' went on till half past June. The hawkweed was up to my knee and the clover was wonderfully high. I'm sure my pollinators have all done well but blimey, it took some mowing. I took a pic of them before I mowed the to oblivion. It's focus stacked in camera.
