Getting the sparkle back

In Falcon Court, on my way back from a trip to Tollcross Community Centre where I met with the person who is coordinating the work which is (finally) going to be done to get the darkroom light-tight (fingers crossed anyway). This is probably only happening because another community centre is closing and activities are being relocated, some to Tollcross. However, it isn't going to happen overnight and it will be a question of wait and see if the darkroom is usable before the clocks change when we would be able to use it again anyway. I then went to Stills in Cockburn Street to dispose of some darkroom chemicals and to a few shops before I went home, a bit damp from showers of rain.

This afternoon I've been trying out a crochet pattern and I'm pleased to say that I think I've got the hang of it. I wanted to be able to do it while I'm away in a week's time. I think some indoor activities will be good to have as it looks as if the rain isn't going to stop anytime soon.

There's an extra of Alfie sitting on the cat tree looking as if he's just woken up - which was probably the case, although he normally looks bright-eyed and bushy-tailed immediately. He's now purring away lying on the sofa beside me, bless him.
