Silencio

So my good friend misterprime and his other/better half have just come back from a trip to Peru. And he posted a picture from the Santa Catalina convent in Arequipa the other day, virtually identical to one I took when I was there on Monday 21st February 2000. I only know I was there on that exact date because I pulled the big old shoebox out the cupboard that is full of notebooks, tickets, receipts, leaflets, maps and general memorabilia from various world travels over the years. Here's the appropriate page from the little notebook that I used as a diary for our three month-long Peru, Chile and Bolivia experiences. Looking back twenty four years later, wow, me and my partner we bloody loved that trip. We really did.
