Dead Flowers & A Quick Walk

As far as I know today was our last delivery at Jupiter and it is the biggest we have done. They are obviously expecting a busy weekend.

There was some sharpening of garden secateurs done this morning, but I think they have passed that stage and will need to be replaced. That will really please SWMBO ... she is always complaining I have too many pairs. I don't know why - I only have 3 pairs (and it is only 2 pairs that need replaced).

We were looking after the monsters this afternoon from lunchtime - since Friday is a half day.
That meant I had to take Squirrel to her 'Leavers Party' which was on a local farm and had all sorts of inside as well as outside events (great in the pouring rain!). She came 2nd in the bull riding event and considered the state she got in at the powder throwing event as a win. I was smart enough to take towels to cover the car seat....unlike a lot of the entitled parents who were just abandoning their cars any and everywhere completely blocking the single track one way system instead of using the carpark made specially for the day. I hope they have fun getting the coloured powder out of their cloth seats!!!!

Pictures of the dead flowers and the quick walk (it started pouring when I was well away from the car) start here......but I think Squirrel's paint job deserves pride of place.
