Not one kingfisher, but two. I think they are young birds. 

Although I have taken photographs over the past few weeks, I haven't got round to blipping any of them. I will probably do some back blips in due course. My family life has been a little hectic. Also, one of my friends and running partners died of cancer,  and whilst not unexpected, it has been  distressing. Liz and I used to run the 7.5 K Nightrun through the Blackpool  Illuminations every year. It was so much fun and I will miss her. 

I am going on a nature tour down south next week, and will hopefully come back with lots of photos. Meanwhile, I will try to catch up with your journals. Sorry I haven't been looking in on them.
