T in the G

I guess it was my bright idea, seven years ago, to invite all our musician friends and their spouses to our garden for a party. It was not quite as ambitious as T in the Park, and has become known as TintheG(arden). It's a formula that seems to work, but, like all parties, there's a lot of preparation. It's a very good excuse to tackle all the garden jobs we have been avoiding, or most of them anyway.

This TintheG was blessed with a baking hot day, as was the previous day when I got sunburnt. It was almost too hot, but there was an impressive range of hats on display, and we were very glad of the canopy over the "stage". After all the acts had done their stint (and apologies to those who didn't find a slot), an informal session got going on the lawn, and here it is.

Many thanks to all the musicians and friends who made it a very enjoyable day, to Maggie who took some pics including this one, but thanks most of all to Madame who produced wonderful food yet again.
