Finished!

Painting above the stairs is finally completed and it’s a relief because it was tricky to get enough paint on the walls while ensuring that none of it spoiled the oiled staircase. None of the coverings we tried quite worked. Maybe that’s just down to our ineptitude.
Anyway, hopefully it won’t need to be done again, and if we ever move, I will hire a decorator to do that type of work. Painting walls is just tedious.
