Happy 10th birthday

Today was Evies 10th birthday. 10 seems like a huge age to reach. I remember being 10 and thinking that to get to double figures made me feel very grown up. I absolutely adore my daughter. She is the funniest, happiest most beautiful person I know. She never fails to light me up with her smile and i wish I could harness her energy and spark as there really is nothing like it to behold.

Amongst her birthday presents was her first dressing table that Charlotte and I bought her. Every girl should have one and it now allows her to sit there brushing her hair and looking at her ears - which she had pierced for her birthday. It also allows me to take nice mirror pictures of her...

I remember so well bringing this little bundle of pinkness home and thinking how tiny she was. 10 years ago... and look at her now. Beautiful, funny, alive and a wonderful daughter. xx
