The last one.

Firstly Mrs. K. thanks everyone for their good wishes. She had a very enjoyable day.

Blip friends will know that a couple of years ago I gave up collecting and growing cacti. The problems of old age were making it difficult to deal with the very sharp spines on many of the species. Succulents are much easier to handle.

But I kept just one cactus which has no spiky dangers.
Today’s Blip shows why I was happy to keep it.

For those interested it is a Gymnocalicium.  There are about 70 different species and in the wild they grow in South America.
