Potholes Everywhere

Walking down The Brae this morning I came across workmen patching the road!  Not wanting to draw attention to myself I simply had the lens set to infinity and set to a reasonable f-stop number.  Didn't raise the camera to my eye but took the shot from waste level as I continued walking.  As a consequence it is cropped more than I would like, probably a third of the frame area is wasted!
