On the plane

I have a few back blips to enter to catch up, but I haven't had time to download the images from my cards yet. For yesterday and today's images, I used my iphone. I was on the plane travelling from Los Angeles to Auckland on 8 July. Actually, we nearly missed the 8th because crossing the dateline, it is easy to lose the day altogether.

I took both these images after midnight, Pacific USA time, so strictly it was the 8 July. I watched some TV documentaries on Africa, and the larger image is a scene from an episode on the Kalahari.
