Long drive south, straightforward traffic wise and I was wrapped up listening to Ely Griffiths’ The Crossing Places, the first of the Ruth Galloway series. I could (almost!) have done with the trip taking an extra hour as I didn’t quite get it finished, but it was really good and I can listen to the rest on the train tomorrow.
Stopped off to see DF and have some tea and a scone, chatting about family, executor things and home decoration and refurbs, before arriving at K’s and collapsing into a familiar routine of too much dinner and some TV as a background to wide ranging chat. Arriving in my bedroom I realised I needed an emergency blip so here’s the salt lamp bedside light….
