Surprise

The clematis at the apple tree that I gave up for several years ago, have survived and even bloming. Such a lovely surprise. 

I had contact with my dearest friend F at the West Bank, Palestine today.
I heard that he had a terrible experience at the check point together with his young son. I'm not sure how old he is, but I guess 8-10 years. The soldier separated them and started to be abuse towards the son, going through his mobil phone, hitting him, pointing machine guns towards him. F could not interfere and was afraid that they would shot it. Shaking of anger, fear and shock.  Over 500 Palestinians are killed at the West Bank since 7th October.  Many thousands detained. The settler violence has exploded.
