Swans

As I drove back to the EC this morning Suzanne and I stopped to watch a visitor feeding the cygnets. It was an amazing sight, with the four cygnets sat in a curved line before him as he hand fed them. The parents were in attendance and chasing away the ducks and birds trying to get in also. We spoke to the man, who demonstrated it was easy! You just feed the parents first, as seen in the photo. They were the food tasters! 
No workshop today as I accompanied Amanda to the ‘tea and cake’ do laid on for volunteers. Amanda is our amazing volunteer, I really hope she eventually decided to retire from teaching and join us on a more permanent arrangement.
