But, then again . . . . .

A Swarm in June.

We arrived home from our Norwegian holiday desperate for a cup of coffee, so the first thing I did was to pop down to the corner shop for a bottle of milk. On the way back, I was greeted by our neighbours who announced that a swarm from my bees had landed in their garden 4 days ago. I apologised profusely, but they were not at all concerned; the grandchildren, on the other hand, had been deprived of a game of football; I’ll make sure that they get a jar of honey next time I see them.

The subsequent inspection of my garden colonies revealed that it was not my swarm – but it is now.

I hope to get around to sorting my holiday pics and posting them in the next week or so.
