A New Crown

Today I spent 3 hours at the dentist to get a new crown (a first for me) and some fillings. One of my autoimmune diseases, Sjögren's Syndrome causes dry mouth, which is bad for the teeth. I have done well until now. But at my last check up, I was hit with the bad news that I needed this work done.

Fortunately, the dentist and his staff are nice. They made a long morning as pleasant as possible. And I got to see my crown being modelled, as you see above.
