What a difference a day makes

Today we woke up to crystal clear sky and warmth.  There was a fantastic view of Mont Blanc from the campsite

After packing up we headed through the Mont Blanc tunnel into Italy.  We are camped up in a lovely site near Aosta.  As we arrived quite early we were able to take advantage of the lovely weather and ride our bikes 2 km to the town.   Unfortunately,  my electric bike is refusing to switch on so it was leg power all the way.  Not really a hardship as it was totally flat along a dedicated cycle path.

It may be a different matter if we go somewhere hilly :-(
