A Beautiful Outing

After checking the weather forecast for the whole of this week, I saw that today, Thursday, was going to be the most beautiful. I phoned a friend to see if she was free to join me, suggesting the outing I had in mind!

We took the train to the lakeside town of Vevey, had a lovely walk by the lakeside, a delicious vegan salad in a little café I know and then along the lake again to take the steam boat back to Lausanne. 

The weather was perfect, blue skies and almost sea-green water across the lake. The temperature reached 19C which is perfect, at least for me.

I couldn't resist adding a second extra of that beautiful boat as it came towards us. We sat outside on deck for the whole trip back for one hour and ten minutes.
