Evening In The City

Looking North from the South Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River at Philadelphia. The construction on the East bank will bring the pedestrian-bike path another few blocks downstream, with the ramp at right connecting it to the bridge.

When I posted this picture on Facebook, an old school friend (who I haven't seen in about 35 years) chimed in, "My son has a job in the building to the far right of your picture; my daughter's boyfriend is the nephew of the man who wrote that song!"

It's such a timeless song. I believe Ceridwen blipped it, not too long ago.

This was the perfect evening for a ride on my bike.
