Mother and child

We moved on from our quirky but wonderful, three night rental this morning. The house was on a large private estate with a deer park, we had been lucky enough to catch site of two foals over the last few days but usually in the distance. This morning as I loaded the car I saw the Doe and it’s foal,  apart from the herd and close enough to the fence for me to get within range to fire off a few photos, this foal was very young and only just learning how it’s legs worked.
