Bobsleigh

Fascinating trip to areas in Sarajevo linked to the war. First to the Tunnel of Hope, a tunnel built by citizens of Sarajevo, in order to bring provisions in during the siege. We then visited the 1984 Bobsleigh track which was used by Serbs to hide and fire upon the city below. The track is being renovated and is currently commonly used by people to cycle down!

 A very sobering reminder of how recent the war was and how it affected the people of Sarajevo.
