Grey Heron

There were 5 heron today. Jekyll was still missing as was the male with the dark patch. Got bothered by seagulls on the slope although the little female (pictured) stays so close to me she isn't really bothered by them. When I made for the clearing it was easier as the trees prevented the gulls swooping. One of the coot chicks was waiting on the path for me today although it was fairly quickly joined by one of the parents. I was able to give them all a good feed. Loving the way the coot adults are making little hooting noises to attract my attention when they want more fish!
