On campus

I was wondering over to the Gila County Community College campus today with the new lens and putting it/me to the test. It's a block away form the RV park in a direction unexplored until now. I know, I gott'a get out more. This is Pink Dawn Chitalpa in a small garden of native species plant donated by the local nursery. It is a cross between desert willow with rather exotic flowers and northern catalpa. We have a Caltapa in our back yard and the flowers do look similar. Here's my Caltapa I really should have had my tripod along to close down the lens a little more for a better depth of field but I do like the blurred background.
