Rocks of Solitude

Visiting an old haunt, we used to go a fair bit when the children were small but never got as fast along as we did today

Did some stone skimming, but the river was not really right for it... This is a short long exposure so the water was bubblier than it showed!

My knee started to twinge a bit on the way back but not so much as last time, no one got any blisters or started limping

We should have taken a nice coffee! And there were a few bitey looking bug types so that's something to remember for next time. No one got bitten though, which is a miracle!
